Limansa half ton in Sri Lanka’s 52-run win over England in Women’s U19 Tri Nation

Sri Lanka hit the winning groove bleeding their England counterparts by 52 runs anchored by Limansa Tillekaratne who struck 51 off 85 balls with 2 fours and a six in a score of 170 in 42.4 overs despite a telling 4 for 9 grab by Trudy Johnson in a Women’s U19 Tri Nation fixture at the Ian Healy Oval Grounds at Brisbane, Australia.

Limansa is the eldest daughter of former Sri Lanka men’s team opening batsman and captain Tillekaratne Dilshan.

Sri Lanka’s bowlers were quick to decimate England for 118 in 42.1 overs with skipper Chamudi Praboda and Aseni Thalagune claiming three wickets each.

The Lankan total was bolstered by Shashini Gimhani who breezed to 39 in 50 balls with 2 fours and a six.
