Cinnamon Grand Colombo recently welcomed back Davide Battistini on his second visit to the island, facilitated through Colombo Athletic’s long standing partnership with AC Milan. Battistini’s visit coincided with the third international training camp conducted by Colombo Athletic.

Within just 15 months, the programme has already delivered multiple camps in Colombo, along with an international exposure opportunity in Milan creating meaningful pathways for young Sri Lankan players.

During his stay, Cinnamon Grand Colombo also hosted an engaging evening at Cheers Pub, where football enthusiasts gathered to hear firsthand insights and experiences from the AC Milan coaching legend.

The AC Milan Camp 2026, held from 18th to 22nd April in Colombo, brought together young players aged 6 to 17, offering them the rare opportunity to train under international standards. Sessions focused on technical precision and tailored training, ensuring each player benefited from a structured, high quality coaching approach.
